The Serpent's Machination: A Tale of Betrayal and Darkness.

On a night when the darkness of the world seemed to loom over the souls of men, a disquieting dream stirred my being, and within me, an ominous premonition rose like a ghost that cannot be ignored.

The fierce northern bear, thirsting for blood and conquest, relentlessly besieged its neighbors. Thousands of citizens lay lifeless in its wake, leaving behind orphans, women, and elderly left helpless in a desolate world. Cities reduced to rubble, orchards and harvests laid waste, fertile lands that once fed millions now lay barren, and thus began the prophecy of an apocalyptic famine that loomed over humanity.

The bear, in its voracity, wove unimaginable alliances. With the dragon of the rising sun, a dark pact that foretold even more destruction. Also, with a traitor from its own people, a perfidious serpent that rose above the Aztec eagle. This serpent, the very one that bit the hand of its best friend, now allied itself with the three tyrant friends of the bear, all oppressors of their own people.

The serpent, bold and unscrupulous, inspired others to follow its path, while the great witch of manipulation wove her invisible threads, devising a plan to subdue the great king who defended the daughter of Jerusalem. Her goal: to besiege her in the near future, usurp her throne, and demand worship, as the serpent did with its own entourage.

The ancient codices of Macuspana, safeguarded by scholars and historians, pointed to the beginning of a New Era in the year 2012 AD, which would culminate in 2018. This era heralded the arrival of a messiah with a personality reminiscent of the Roman emperors, with Caligula incarnate and enthroned in the palace of the new Tenochtitlán.

The new king, in addition to employing demagoguery, resorted to sorcery and speeches reminiscent of the rhetoric of the Führer, captivating the fragile minds of human beings. He promised them manna from heaven to free them from labor, turning them into submissive and grateful pets. Could this domination be considered a new form of democracy?

The new Aztec king undoubtedly embraced strange ideas, perhaps even influenced by beings from other worlds. In his own words: "I no longer belong to myself, and we are not the same." These perplexing assertions revealed a mind disturbed by unknown forces.

It was said that this new Caesar would establish his throne in Tenochtitlán but would refuse to dwell in the house of the former king, the Rock. Instead, he inhabited the ancient and ostentatious royal palace, yet he lacked an ancient plume of great value for his anointing. The queen embarked on a quest to other realms, but upon finding the moth-eaten plume, her rage was unleashed like a tempest.

Despite his apparent benevolence, the Caesar was betrayed by his inherent reptilian nature, a usurper and enemy of the Messiah, the Christ. The codices spoke of an eagle on an islet that would devour the serpent in the year 1325, but it only left it stunned. Other scrolls suggested that the serpent would revive in the distant 2018, and its voracity would not be quenched, devouring not only the eagle, the symbol of Tenochtitlán but the entire realm.

On a day that seemed tranquil, peasants went about their daily labors, some to their fields, and others to gather firewood. From the river, desperate cries were heard: "Help, please help!" They rushed to the source of the wails and found a gigantic serpent trapped under a massive log, unable to free itself.

The serpent, with sweet words and promises of wealth and manna from heaven, persuaded the woodcutters to release it. But as soon as it was set free, the treacherous reptile swam upstream toward the village. Flames spewed from its mouth, setting ablaze the granary where wheat was stored, driving away merchants and leaving the town in despair. The doctors who once healed the population were viciously mistreated, while charlatans and healers from distant lands were summoned to line the pockets of the ruling despot.

The serpent took control of the podium, where it convened a daily gathering of woodcutters, using accusations and machinations to divide the town into two irreconcilable factions: the good woodcutters and the wicked farmers. Although the farmers continued their work, their production was diminished by the hatred and violence sown by the serpent.

Neighboring towns, witnessing the growing violence and the lack of rules in that town, decided to isolate themselves. The serpent accused them of interference and of being mere sheep. Thus, that town became isolated from the world, while the serpent reveled in its own wickedness, without remorse for the immense harm it had caused, convinced that in the law of the jungle, good is repaid with evil.
